The Lasajang Community Project is a registered Scottish charity (SC037448) founded by Chief Chebe and friends to support his local Sissala community in northern Ghana. Our aim is to support the local people to build an ethically sustainable economy and to improve the quality of education for children in the area. We are currently fundraising to ship a container of donated nursery equipment to Pulima Nursery and school equipment to Pulima, Sorbelle, Silbelle, Kong, Buoti and Jewia Primary Schools. |

Scottish schools have donated blackboards, books, sports equipment, computers, printers and bikes and we need to raise funds to transport these goods directly to northern Ghana.
How can you help? 1. Sponsored event. Why not carry out a sponsored event at your school to raise funds for our appeal. Please print our sponsor sheet here.
2. Donate old text books or school equipment. We would be very interested in a series of reading books, all teaching in Ghana is in English as Ghana was a former British colony. Please email or phone 01236 823869 and we can arrange collection.
3. Easyfundraising. If you shop online there’s now a simple, easy and free way for you to support Lasajang Community Project. All you need to do is visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk and register.
